Please note that we cannot guarantee to carry passengers who arrive at a station after the advertised time of the last tram, even if the passenger has a return ticket.

The 1895 income value of one penny would be worth about £3.20 at today’s value.

There is good wheel chair access to the Tramway.

The platforms have a 1 in 10 slope and access to the bottom station has a 1 in 6 slope.

Push chairs and wheelchairs can be carried on the tram but we are sorry, there are restrictions on heavy, powered versions. Please check with us.

Bicycles can usually be carried but there are limits on numbers for any trip.

Dogs can be carried, free of charge, if accompanied by a well behaved owner.
